I can also add, when I am in that state, I have complete tunnel vision, I see straight ahead dont move. Everything looks fuzzy, not bad kinda cool. I can come out of it when I want though, I do shake my head sometimes to get myself back to reality. So far it works for me. When I lived there for a while back in 2001, I always let myself get lost. Ride to the Subway, go to a random location and walk around. It's always an adventure everytime. I returned there last year, and I was surprised how comfortable it felt being back there. It felt like i almost never left. Planning to walk the streets of NYC again next year.
